The Gen2 quick release staff coupler is compatible with eco apprentice sabers and uses a spring loaded mechanism to lock and unlock your sabers. Simply replace your pommels with the quick release coupler halves, press them together, and rotate 1/8 turn and they lock into place. To separate push the saber together, rotate 1/8 of a turn and release. The Gen2 design has a shorter overall length, a smoother operation, and uses a four lug mechanism instead of a two lug. This means you have four positions you can time your sabers instead of two. 

The Apprentice Gen2 quick couplers are compatible with the Elite/ASP Gen2 couplers and will connect to them. 

Inspired by the HK mp5 suppressor mount, these are the first quick connect couplers on the market that lock without free spinning, that means you can time your sabers so the features line up perfectly.
